What do you see as you walk, bike or drive through the neighbourhood?
I think most people would say streets, cars, people, parks, churches, schools, houses, gardens, dogs, squirrels, stores, eateries, and so on. When I’m out walking, looking straight ahead, I see these things too. But when I look up or down, I see litter – lots of different kinds of litter.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. So, I am sharing a photo gallery of what I see on my litter-picking walks around Trace Manes Park.
I think it tells the story of the litter situation in our community far better than my words ever can. The next time you’re out, look up or down and tell me what you see.
