If you are a pickleball enthusiast, you might want to keep an eye out for the Leaside Pickleball Club, operating with two courts, four times a week during the day in the gymnasium of Leaside United Church. With 67 members, this location is closed at this time for new members, but the club is partnering with the new flagship Fairgrounds Leaside, (featured in the June issue of Leaside Life), so opportunities to join and play will increase.  Leasider Tanya Pimenoff, the club’s treasurer, was originally a tennis player, but wanted to give pickleball a try. She is now firmly hooked.
