Nominations for the 2024 Agnes Macphail Award will be accepted until midnight, Jan. 12, 2024. A person resident in the former Borough of East York, which includes Leaside, who has made outstanding contributions as a volunteer, advocate, contributor to community life and leader in social justice issues – such as women’s rights, fairness to seniors, criminal justice system and penal reform, international peace and disarmament, or access to adequate housing, healthcare and education, would be an ideal candidate.
