Good thing Markham Ave., a short street that runs from Airdrie to Laird, has no addresses on it, so no homes will be impacted.
City Council approved the name change last month as a memorial to Dave Stickney, the former Leaside High teacher, local baseball guru and community leader who died earlier this year.
