“The junior boys’ soccer team was not easy to coach. Like mustangs crossed with toddlers, these boys were wild, passionate, fun, and truly loveable. Although a challenging experience, coaching this team has been one of the highlights of my school year. The MVP of this team is committed. He is a strong leader, a generous teammate, and an exemplary soccer player. He brought positivity, resilience, and joie de vivre to the team. And, when bribed, he can do a cracking good Scottish accent. I’m delighted to announce the MVP of the 2024/25 Leaside High School junior boys’ soccer team is Zander Michie.”
