The LHS School Council, LHS Student Council, and LHS Indigenous Education Committee are honoured and excited to invite students, guardians, parents, community members, and staff to a talk by Elder Dr. Duke Redbird. Established intellectual, poet, painter, broadcaster, filmmaker, and keynote speaker, Elder Dr. Duke Redbird is a true visionary, and we will all benefit from his wisdom and leadership as we work towards a shared vision enriched by Indigenous perspectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for all of us to learn and grow our own understanding and to develop a community in which Indigenous perspectives become embedded in all we do. No matter where we are in our learning, we are all sure to benefit from Dr. Redbird’s words.
