The candidates meeting will take place on Monday April 14 at 8 p.m. at the William Lea Room at Leaside Memorial Community Gardens.

This meeting will follow the LRA Annual and Special Meeting, and comments from MPP Stephanie Bowman and Councillor Rachel Chernos Lin.

The LRA has invited the following candidates:

• Linnea Löfström-Abary, New Democratic Party of Canada

• Rob Oliphant, Liberal Party of Canada

• Robert Pierce, Conservative Party of Canada

• Sheena Sharp, Green Party of Canada

After opening statements, the candidates will respond to audience questions.

Please note that due to circumstances beyond our control, the LRA regrets to inform you that although all four main parties were invited to attend and participate in the LRA Candidates Meeting, only the Liberal and Green Party candidates have agreed to appear.

As the aim of the meeting is to hear from candidates on as wide a range of issues as possible, questions may be condensed and/or synthesized. Due to time constraints, not all questions may be posed. Oral questions from the audience are not permitted.
