Holland Bloorview is now recruiting volunteers 16+ years for its March Break program, an  opportunity for high school students to complete their 40 hours of community service in one week.

Volunteers work directly with disabled children in the Creative Arts Respite Camp and Therapeutic Recreation program, engaging them in activities that focus on play.

“Many of our March Break volunteers have such a great experience that they choose to return the next year,” says coordinator Jennifer Hiett.

Holland Bloorview, in north Leaside at 150 Kilgour Rd., is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital.
