The proposed Leaside Sports Hall of Fame will announce its list of honourees this fall and has recruited three prominent community members to its selection committee. All three have had some involvement in or knowledge of Leaside’s sport history. They are former University of Toronto field hockey star and comedic actor Phyllis Ellis, former Leafs assistant general manager Bill Watters, and historian Michael Bliss.
