North Leaside bungalows are still setting records as we head into spring. A recent bungalow sale was for $1,328,000. It was situated on a 37.4-foot (frontage) lot and sold for 11.69 percent over asking.
So far this year homes have been selling at an average 6 percent above asking.
The highest in a multiple-offer situation was 31 percent above and the lowest was 5 percent below.
With the historically low interest rates we are sure to see more multiple offer situations and strong demand for our Leaside properties, especially with a significant lack of inventory.
In March only 12 homes changed hands in Leaside Bennington Heights, which was much fewer than the 21 homes that sold last March.
