Debora Kuchme, leader of the Bayview Pixies, Bayview Leaside BIA Board member and horticultural columnist for Leaside Life, was a recipient of a Don Valley West Community Volunteer Service Award presented by the Honourable Kathleen Wynne, MPP for Don Valley West, on April 17 at a ceremony and dinner held at Suomi-Koti.
Debora and her team of Bayview Pixies were honoured for their outstanding commitment to Leaside through their work in developing attractive, sustainable landscaping in the Bayview shopping area, and thus enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the neighbourhood.
