MP John Carmichael says he is “continuing to work… finding a solution” to night airplane noise “… but I am not optimistic that there is (one) that will please everyone”.
He met Feb. 18 with members of the new Toronto Aviation Noise Group (TANG) of which the Leaside Property Owners’ Association is a member.
He says he will arrange a town hall meeting, date to be determined.
TANG says it has 12 ratepayer group members, with interest growing.
Current members are in Bedford Park, Lawrence Park, Sherwood Park, South Eglinton, Teddington Park, York Mills, Avenue Rd. and Eglinton Community, Eglinton Park, Oriole Park, South Hill, Forest Hill and Leaside.
