The golden arches of McDonalds are probably going under the wrecking ball.
Metrolinx is negotiating with the property owner to purchase the land on the southeast corner of Bayview and Eglinton to make way for the main station entrance for the Bayview stop on the crosstown LRT.
Metrolinx has yet to select a designer or a builder for LRT stations. Construction on the property, which is not owned by McDonald’s, isn’t expected to begin until 2016.
