ADULT and TEEN PROGRAMMING:

  • Adult Colouring Party. Colouring sheets, crayons, markers and relaxing music supplied. Tuesdays, April 5-26, 7-8:15 p.m.
  • Author Terence Keenleyside. In A Spin is a different and distinctively Canadian novel, rich in drama and comedy. Wednesday, April 13, 7-8 p.m. Everyone welcome.
  • Elizabeth Muir: Canadian Women in the Sky. Author discusses her most recent book which details how women broke through the sky blue ceiling. Wednesday, April 6, 7-8 p.m. No registration required.
  • How To Use Your Tablet. One-on-one tutoring from Leaside teens. Learn to download books, magazines, and listen to music from the library’s site. Also, general guidance about operating your device. Saturday, April 9, 10-12 a.m. Space limited. Registration required.
  • Puzzles/ Games Night. Recurring Mondays, April 4-25. 7-8:15 p.m. Drop in.
  • Leaside Writers’ Group. Saturdays, April 2, 16, 30. 10-11.45 a.m. Everyone welcome.
  • Leaside Needleworx Group (knitting and crocheting). Bring your own projects or start something new. Fridays, April 1-29, 10-11:45 a.m. Everyone welcome.
  • Play Reading Group. A thought-provoking play from comedy to award-winning drama. Saturday, April 23, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Call to register.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING:

  • Ready for Reading Baby Time (up to 18 months). Bouncing and tickling rhymes, songs and stories for babies with parents or caregivers. Thursdays, April 7-28, 9:30-10 a.m. & 10:30-11 a.m. Drop in.
  • Ready for Reading Family Time (19 months-5 years). Stories, songs, and rhymes for children with parents or caregivers. Wednesdays, April 6-27, 9:30-10 a.m. & 10:30-11 a.m.
