In June, the LMCG, together with volunteers from its user groups (Leaside Hockey Association, Leaside Skating Club, Toronto Leaside Girls Hockey Association, Hockey Extreme) and the community, hosted a food drive in honour of the “King of Leaside” – George Turrell. As a result, 47 boxes of food were delivered to Thorncliffe Park’s TNO Food Bank. Conspiracy Pizza provided lunch for the volunteers. Photo from LMCG.
