Pianist wanted
for veterans

Leaside’s Colonel Michael Stevenson – who many recall was often splendidly attired as Lt.-Gov. Simcoe, circa 1800, in Civic Holiday events – is looking for a pianist who can play nostalgic wartime songs.

It’s for the Sunnybrook Hospital veterans’ wing popular sing-alongs on Wednesday afternoons which, unfortunately, had to stop until a new volunteer pianist was found.

“More than 300 (of the 500) veterans usually join in the sing-alongs,” said Michael. “It is emotional stuff.” 416-481-0306.
